Summer Term, 2017 Issue 24 – 19/7/17

Head teacher’s Message

Another school year draws to a close and I find it hard to believe that this is our 10th year in our ‘new’ building. Thank you to everyone who celebrated our 10th Anniversary with us and I hope the children enjoyed bouncing on the inflatables, eating cake and taking home their commemorative pencil tin! The building is important but the school is so much more than just a building. Our school would not be what it is without the hard work of staff and governors, the support of the wider community and your commitment as parents and guardians. Most importantly, our school would not exist without the amazing, thoughtful and hard-working children who come in every day. Thank you to everyone for making St Thomas such a wonderful place to be a head teacher. I hope you all have an enjoyable summer!

Defibrillator Raffle
A huge thank you to everyone who helped raise £1000 to have a defibrillator sited at the school. A special thank you should go to Miss Powe though for making it all happen! The charity, Cariad have now provided the equipment and will be delivering training.
